21a: Google sketch up - Shapes
In this project we started using google sketch up. So  we could get use to the program we first start out with creating basic shapes like a triangle, a square, and a circle. We put our camera to front view. We used a regular pencil tool, a square pencil tool, and a circle pencil tool to create the shapes.
21b:3D shapes
In this project we took the shapes from 21a. We then took the pull tools to extend the shapes. By doing this you gave the shapes a 3-D look. We also used the orbit tool to look at the shapes from different angles.
21c: 3D names
In this project we took the same concept of 3d shapes and created our names in 3d. I took the square tool and then I created 6 boxes for each letter in my name. I then took the pencil tool and created boxes to outline the shapes for my name. After that I took the pull and orbital tools to give it a 3d look from a certain angle.

 22 Shape 10 : 12 by 6 by 3
 22 Shape 11: 6 by 8 by 5

In these projects we used Google Sketch up to create these various shapes. We had to measure and put in the numbers so the shape would start to form. Assignment 22 shape 1-12.
22 : Quiz
In this project we had to use the same concept of measurements. After that I had to create arcs to created the rounded parts of the figure.

In this project we took our gingerbread house from assignment 23 and turned it into a 3-d model. We had to create 2 layers and move the copy of the house to the side so it looks 3-d.
25: Glowing Power Button
In this project I created a glowing power button. I started out with basic circles and then added layer styles to it. After that I added the power button symbol and then added layer styles to it to make it glow. At the end you are able to see the different phases of the color change.
Gif is a format for compressing image files.
Animation is basically creating images using computers which can be used to create films.

26: Showcase
In this project we used Photoshop to create a showcase. We first started out with basic guides and rectangles to create a 3-d shape. When we created the shapes I added layer styles like gradient overlay, etc. Then I created the light part of the room. I also added layer styles to those oval shapes. Later on, I created the beam of light coming from the ceiling. From there I got different views of shoes off of the internet and cropped them. I then showcased the shoes. I then added a shadow to make the appearance that the light is hitting the shoes.
27: Brochure
This is the last project for multimedia. We have created a brochure of our school schedule. Also we added how we get to school by public transportation.

2nd marking period

11:  Flyer Redesigned by Briana Reid

In this project we recreated a flyer for the night of science. For the text i chose to do crazy text. When doing crazy text I distorted the title Noche De Ciencias. I made the background using a radial gradient tool. In the background you can see that there is a mixture of a blue- green color and black. I added the graphic by going on google and saving pictures. After I did that I made sure that I copied the picture over to my flyer and that I adjusted the size of the picture. After I did that I used the magic wand so the blue-green color can show through the pictures.

12: Texture with layer mode by Briana Reid
In this project I found a dress then opened it in Photoshop. I then used the magnetic lasso tool to outline a certain part. I then added a design. Last I put the dress plus the design to equal the final product.

13: Change One Thing Poster By Briana Reid
In this project we created our own version of a food bank poster. We found a picture of junk food and we used the magnetic lasso tool to add another picture in. In my poster I used apples and fries. I put the fries in the back and put apple slices in the front. You can tell that there were fries there before but I replaced it with the apple slices. I made the background a dandelion color so that the fries would be recognizable. At the bottom I put a logo and a health fact.

14: Jack O'Lantern Halloween Project by Briana Reid
In this project we created a Jack O'Lantern. We found a picture of a pumpkin online and opened it in Photoshop. We then created the eyes and mouth. After we did that we adddeed inner glow, outer glow, inner shadow, gradient overlay, and stroke to the mouth and eyes. This helped the yellow and white color to reflect through the pumpkin. Last we had a white and yellow color coming from the bottom of the pumpkin so it looks like a reflection of the mouth and eyes on the background.

15a: Flag Displacement By Briana Reid
In this project I recreated the look of the UK flag with a brick wall behind it. We overlayed the flag on the brick wall. The image is distorted so you can see the outline of the brick wall. We also had to change the brick layer and flag layer from normal to hard light. Combinig both of these created the look of a UK flag painted on the brick wall.

15b: Face Displacement By Briana Reid
In this project I put the Jamaican flag on a picture of my face. We overlayed the flag of our choice on my face. Just like in assignment 15a you distort the image so you can see my face through the flag. It comes out looking like the flag is painted on my face. Combining both of them created the painted look that we want.

16: Motion Blur By Briana Reid
In this project we added a filter to any type of transportation we chose. I chose a train to to add the motion blur to. I first opened the picture as a smart project. Then I went to filter and applied the motion blur to the train. After I did that I clicked on the mask thumbnail and used the brush to take the effect off of the train itself, but leaving the effect on the background. Last, I made the canvas size bigger and I added the original picture to the left so you could see the difference between the original picture and the one with the added effect.

17: Quick Mask By Briana Reid
In this project we used a quick mask to make a selection. We first found a picture any picture we wanted to. We then zoomed in on the area we were going to change. We clicked the quick mask mode button so we could draw the area we wanted to change. After this we made sure we didnt include any parts we didnt want. After this we then clicked select and inverse so only the part with the red mask was selected. After this selection we filled whatever you chose to change, in this case I chose to change the eye color. I filled in the color and changed the opacity and then enlargened the canvas size to show the before and after picture.

18: Soft Focus Effect By Briana Reid
In this project I added a soft effect to a picture of myself. I converted the picture to a smart filter then I used a filter to blur it in gaussian style. After that I set the radius to any number I wanted. After that I changed the the type of effect from normal to screen. I then added a layer mask and then I selected a brush that was small enough to highlight my eyes and lips. Last I clicked the airbrush thumbnail and set the opacity to 40%. Last I painted over my eyes and lips and changed the opacity to get the glow I wanted.
19: Flash Drive By Briana Reid
In this project we have moved on from using Photoshop and we are now using Adobe Illustrator. In this project we created a flash drive. We opened a new document and created a rectangle by using the rectangle tool. After we then make sure that it is aligned right in the middle. We then use the elipse tool to created the bbottom of the flash drive so it looks rounded. After that we unite the shapes so they are both put together as one. We then go to gradient to choose whatever color you would like your flaash drive to be. After that you have to create small rectangles and squares to make the top of the flash drive. After that we have to put in the rectangles on the top and a line so it resembles an actual flash drive. We also have to use the rounded rectangle tool to create the inside and last, we write flash drive, our name, and 16 gb and then you have your finished flash drive.

20: Wireless Phone By Briana Reid
In this project we used Adobe Illustrator to create a wireless phone. For this phone we have used many shapes to create the phone such as circles and squares. You first start out with a rounded rectangle to get the basic shape of the phone. After that you have to create a smaller rectangle to make the screen. Inside the screen I wrote my name and mcsm. Next I use the elipse tool to create the first two buttons. I then create another set of buttons for the volume of the phone. Then I created one of the buttons with the number on it and duplicated it so we could have all the numbers and letters on the buttons. Last I had to create a speaker for the phone.
